The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam, under the Government of Assam, has released a large-scale recruitment notification for the provincialisation of 10,673 teacher posts in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools. This recruitment drive is exclusively for eligible serving Contractual and State Pool Teachers under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) who meet the prescribed service conditions. The initiative is part of the state government’s effort to enhance elementary education in Assam by offering permanent employment to experienced teachers. Education

• Candidates must possess the minimum educational and professional qualifications laid down by NCTE.
• Must fulfill Government of Assam eligibility rules for teacher appointments.
• Apply only for the same category of post currently held as Contractual or State Pool Teacher under SSA.

Salary

• Pay Band-2: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000
• Plus Grade Pay and Other Allowances as per Assam government rules.
