Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
Education
PGT posts require Master’s Degree/M.Sc/MCA or equivalent with B.Ed and proficiency in English medium teaching; TGT roles require Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed and CTET/STET; Office Superintendent and UDC require Graduate with relevant office experience; LDC requires 10th pass with typing and computer skills; PEM/PTI cum Matron (Female) requires B.P.Ed or relevant qualification with experience in physical education.
Salary
Pay scales vary: PGT – Level-8 (₹47,600–1,51,100), Office Superintendent – Level-6 (₹35,400–1,12,400), UDC – Level-4 (₹25,500–81,100), LDC – Level-2 (₹19,900–63,200), TGT & PEM/PTI – consolidated pay up to ₹68,697 or ₹29,200 as applicable.
Age Limit
As on 16 August 2025: PGT – 21 to 40 years, TGT & PEM/PTI – 21 to 35 years, Office Superintendent/UDC/LDC – 18 to 50 years. Relaxation applies: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, Ex-Servicemen – as per Government norms.
Application Fee
General/OBC candidates must pay ₹500 and SC/ST candidates ₹250 via Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Principal Sainik School Amethi” payable at Gauriganj or Amethi.
Selection Process
